Mission:M25, led by Jimmie (Drifter) Lawson, a war veteran himself discovered Spc 4 Danny James of Lehigh Acres, FL had all his medals and military gear destroyed by a family member on his return from Viet Nam. It became a burden of Drifter’s heart to see the medals replaced.
On March 18th a small band of patriotic riders from FGR, SCPGR and M25 Ministries made a surprise visit to Danny’s home and presented him with his Division Flag and medals. Danny served with the 101st Airborne in Viet Nam from 1969-1970, receiving the Combat Infantry Medal and Bronze Star.
We rejoice in the healing this brought to a true hero.
