July 8th, 2011 · 1 Comment

Two Mission: M25 soldiers were notified of promotions this past month. LCDR Timothy Moore and MSG Tim Gray will be pinned at a future date but as far as Mission: M25 is concerned, we want to congratulate them for the church now!

Timothy R Moore has been selected to promote to the rank of Commander (O-5) in the Navy. His promotion will not take effect until official authorization message expected in August or September 2012. He was selected among his peers of fellow Navy Chaplains. Moore is ordained in the Upper South Carolina Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. (LCDR Timothy ‘Padre’ Moore has ridden all the way with us on Run For The Wall the last two years and has received his clearance to ride with us on the first, Run For The Wall Israel).

Sergeant First Class Tim Gray stationed at Fort Bliss, in El Paso, TX, promoted to Master Sergeant effective 1 July 2011. Twenty years in the Army, three deployments, Desert Storm / Desert Shield, one deployment during Operation Enduring Freedom, One deployment for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Awarded the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Bronze Star Medal, three Army Commendation Medals. Currently on Active duty as the senior enlisted Non-Commissioned officer for a West Texas Recruiting team with the Texas Army National Guard. Tim Gray rode with M25 on RFTW the last two years, and in 2011 he went all the way.

May God bless our nation so that we can continue this wonderful life of freedom we so many times take for granted. May the Lord put a shield about all of our great men and women who are sacrificing to secure these blessings.

Gary Burd, National M25 Director

Very deserving promotions to two great men of God. Proud to have served arm in arm with them on RFTW 23, 2011.
